Avon Mousse/Cream Eyeshadow Review

This review is for Sonia :)

I got this eyeshadow long long back, to be honest I don’t remember when ;) My aunt was an Avon representative and she used to get compliments whenever she exceeds the target. This eyeshadow was one of such gifts from Avon. Since my aunt hardly uses any eye shadows she passed this on to me like she usually does. Ya she is soooo sweet :)

I am just a starter when it comes to eye make up and when I was clearing my entire make up stuff I found this cute little pot. I just took a little amount and tried it on my eyes and it looked simple and neat. All it leaves in my skin is little shimmer and no color. So this can be either used alone or even with other matte eye shadows.

Look and Feel

This is a completely creamy eye shadow and it is very easy to apply as well. I use my hands to apply this on my lids and it just works fine. I haven’t tried using this with a brush. This is a thick cream in the pot and has a light creamy pink shade. Though the cream is thick, it doesn’t form any lumps while applying and easily glides on my eyes.

How it Works?

I just take a little amount on my fingertips and spread it over my eyelids. For everyday use I just apply a little of this alone on my eyelids and on other occasions I apply this on top of other colored eyeshadow for that added glamour this would give. Both ways I like this eye shadow and this has never let me down.

This small pot comes a long way. Though I have been using this for months now, (almost every time I use an eyeshadow) you can see the quantity that is still left. The shimmer is neither too much to make me look like a disco ball nor less that it can be hardly seen but the right amount required.

This is pure shimmer and nothing else. Hope you can see the glitter in my hand.

So if you are expecting some color out of it then sorry this is not for you. Recently Avon has come up with mousse eyeshadows in sticks and thick if you are keen about the color you can check them out here.

I don’t think this is available in India :(

Worth the Money?

I don’t have any idea about the price. Again I am sorry about it. Since I got this as an compliment and also the price is not available in their website I can’t say much on this. But for me I really like this eye shimmer [I would rather call it this way] and I will be using it regularly.
