Himalaya Pure Hands Hand Sanitizer Review

I never realised the necessity of a hand sanitizer until I delivered my baby. Even before she was born me and mum got a huge bottle of Himalaya Hand Sanitizer for ourselves and also for the guests who visited frequently to see the new born. I made sure that everyone wash and then sanitize their hands before touching the little one because that is what even the Doctors and nurses did.

The sanitizer is a light transparent liquid that comes with a pump dispenser [I love it] and thus easy to take the sanitizer out. It comes in lemon fragrance and thus gives a fresh smell and feel. I just pump it twice and rub it gently on both the hands. Not only I use this before I take Neya but also when I am going to use my bare hands for makeup.

Each ml contains Extracts- Hrivera, Dhanyaka, Nimbuka, Ushira, Nimba - 60mg each.

Indications : Cleansing hands for general maintenance of hygiene during patient care.

Directions for use: Take 0.5 to 1 ml of the gel (one push of calibrated pump) on your palms. Rub well over the palms, back of hands, fingernails and groves briskly until dry. No water required after use.

Kills 99.9% of germs.
Protects Hands
Effective against bacteria, fungus, virus

  • It is a herbal hand sanitizer (See ingredients above). I haven't come across any other hand sanitizer that is herbal.
  • Smells like lemon. Fragrance is mild and not disturbing.
  • The sanitizer is very light and gets absorbed in a second.
  • A small amount is sufficient everytime and hence the bottle would last really long. [However the expiry period is 2 years].
  • It is easily available.
  • I love the pump dispenser that controls the liquid that coming out.
  • It is also available in smaller/trial version that can be carried in our hand bag. I got that one as well.

  • Nothing. I just like everything about this product.

Himalaya Pure Hands Hand Sanitizer costs Rs.225 for 500 ml and Rs.27 for 30 ml.

The Himalaya Pure Hands Hand Sanitizer is a good product that is worth the money and worth a try too :)
