L'Occitane Verbena Body Lotion Review

My sister is one who never gets tired sending me gifts and the L'Occitane products I have currently are all from her. The body lotion is one thing I am using regularly these days and thought it is time to review it. Next I would be reviewing their shampoo and conditioner and might be the soap after that.

The review was requested by Ankita :)

Description

The L'Occitane Verbena body lotion is not as liquid as a lotion but more like a cream. When I first took the cream out I thought it is really thick but no, it is neither too thick nor too liquid like a lotion. As I spread it on my body it gets absorbed in a jiffy. The skin feels and looks moisturized. The effect lasts until I have my shower again. It smells like fresh tea leaves as I open the lid. I am reviewing the sample bottle that has 50 ml of the product.

Likes
  • Smells fresh and good.
  • Lotion feels light on skin.
  • Moisturizes the skin well.
  • Lotion gets absorbed easily.
  • Good and spill-free packaging.
  • The effect stays for an entire day.

Dislikes
  • The lotion does not help people with dry skin and I also doubt how good it will be in winters.

Price

The price of L'Occitane Verbena Body Lotion is Rs.1595 for 250 ml.

Verdict

This is a good body lotion, especially if you have oily-combination skin then you would love it. My skin is basically dry and it helps me in this summer. Might be I will have to look out for a better moisturizer for winters.

  6. That's a nice review dear :) is there an ingredient list on the body? I'd love to know if it contains parabens or not.. I've been looking out for a body moisturizer without parabens for long..

  7. You have got a very sweet sister and great that she sends you beauty products, a woman's new best friend bearing in mind that diamonds have become so expensive these days. LOL! I also believe in applying a lot of moisturiser soon after I get out of my bath. My skin is still damp and the moisturiser absorbs well. Off late I have been applying Parachute Advansed body lotion summer fresh which has mint and coconut milk in it. I find it great for the summer months.
