Wella SP Balance Scalp Lotion Review

Few months back my hair went through a bad phase and I shared all about it here already. That is when I got to try a handful of new hair care products from the brand Wella System Professional and I call all of them my savior. First, it was for my dandruff and then for the dryness and hair fall. Today I am reviewing a lotion here, that controlled my hair fall to a great extent.

Description

The Balance Scalp Lotion from Wella says it is meant for sensitive scalp as I had to use really strong chemicals to get rid of my dandruff. I have been using this for more than a month now. After cleaning my hair and once my hair is dry I apply this lotion on my scalp directly, concentrating on places that has less hair. The lotion is very light like water but looks and smells like yummy caramel !! I so feel like putting a drop in my mouth :p. After application I give a light massage and that is it. I use this like thrice a week and in a month I could see drastic improvement. I am so loving this lotion now.

Can you see the light brown caramello liquid :D

Likes
  • Very light on scalp, feels like plain water.
  • Smells yummy like a caramel. Trust me it is too hard to resist.
  • Easy to use packaging.
  • Helps reduce hair fall over regular usage.
  • Travel-friendly too.
  • I was using a different serum for hair fall [which I guess is more effective] from the same brand. It was too expensive [Rs.4000] and I am glad this was much cheaper [Rs.800].
  • This bottle will last for an year !!

Dislikes
  • Only available in salons.
  • The packaging is pretty opaque so no track of how much product is left.

I was using Clear Scalp lotion as well to get rid of dandruff and it worked well the same way. The only difference is Clear Scalp Lotion helped my dandruff where as the Balance Scalp Lotion helped my hair fall. Both products are equally amazing. For best results use it with the shampoo and conditioner from the same range.

Price

The cost of Wella SP Balance Scalp Lotion is Rs.800 for 125 ml.

Verdict

A great product that really helped me when my hair suffered a bad phase. If you have similar problems and nothing helped you, do try this one and I am sure you will be happy with the results. Hope Wella SP does not discontinue these products like how they did with my favorite 'Remove Shampoo' long back :(
