Colorbar True Gloss Lip Gloss [Vintage Rose, Pink Stain, Orange Nectar] Review, LOTD

I have been drooling over these Colorbar true glosses ever since they were launched and I never got a chance to try them at the stores. Since I couldn't wait any longer I just randomly chose 3 and ordered them online [I wanted 5]. I am reviewing those 3 shades for you. I 'might' buy 2 more but only after trying them at the stores, you'll know why by the end of this review..

I won't say these lip glosses are super pigmented but too much pigmented !! Ya, it is more than what I need, the color stays on and on and on until you lick it off completely. Even if you lick it, you can see stained lips at the end. Super glossy they are and both the color and glossiness stays for good 8 hours. On my lips it does not survive a meal or even a drink. Almost all colors are so bright that I highly suggest you try them before buying them. Out of the three I got I am only comfortable wearing 1 [Nectar Orange] of these on my lips as I am not used to bright colors, that might be a reason too.

Vintage Rose - A bright fuchsia color will suit fair to medium skin tone.
Pink Stain - Neon Pink that suits fair skin tone.
Nectar Orange - Dull Coral shade that would suit almost all skin tones.

  • Super glossy.
  • Super pigmented.
  • Amazing color choice available [10 of them] and I loved almost all of them.
  • Super bright colors.
  • Not at all sticky.
  • No fragrance.
  • No glitters.
  • Full coverage even on pigmented lips.
  • Lengthy big tubes of gloss that I doubt whether I will ever finish them up.
  • Lengthy applicator makes application so easy.
  • Easily available both in stores and online.

  • The colors are too bright for my liking or I can say I am never used to such bright colors. Out of the three I go back to Nectar Orange again but Vintage Rose and Pink Stain are too bright !! For the same reason it is better to try it out at the stores before buying them.

The cost of Colorbar True Gloss Lip Gloss is Rs.495 for 3.8 ml

The colors are exact as shown in the swatch. The colors look much more subtle and wearable in my LOTD pics but they are not !! I warn you !! Wear them on you at the stores and then decide what to buy for yourself. Everything else about the gloss is just amazing from the formula to the finish you must have at least one from this collection.
