Tiny Lil Perfect Pout :)

I was confused whether to do this or not but finally decided to do this post. Few days back I saw a pic of a cute little baby with good eye makeup and lip color as well - she looked like a doll!! I shared it in my Facebook page with a caption  - 'I am worried now' , coz I never want to see my kid with so much makeup any day !! Might be in her late teens she can :p

Ever since I organized my make up it became so easy for my daughter to open the draws and mess up the things that I have neatly arranged. One day she went a step ahead and tried a lipstick on her lips [with the lid - Thank God !!] and I was shocked. In spite of me warning her so many times she always opens the draw and takes the things out and either rub it on her lips or eyes [she sees me doing this always]

One day when I was taking pics of Colorbar True Gloss on my lips, this is what happened..

She just copied me..
She couldn't control herself when I caught her in action :p

I got a shock where in both daughter and dad were giggling and I understood hubby did all this prank :p While I was clicking pics he had applied the gloss for Neya and she was imitating me ;)

Now a days she always wants a lipstick and eye liner whenever we go out. I pretend to apply it on her with the lid on. Don't know for how long this trick would work :( I am really worried now !!!

  3. I hope the pic of the baby with makeup is photoshopped...why would anyone want to mar a baby's naturally innocent beauty with tons of cosmetics?

Reading about ur daughter made me remember my childhood days. My mom never used any makeup except compact and lippie and I would apply her lippies whenever I got a chance!

  4. oh my god!!! She is just soo cute!! A doll!!!
Hey, you can;t really stop them from going through the makeup stash. My niece does the same even though she is a bit older now. I would take my eyepencils and lightly move it on her eyes with the caps closed :P
This worked only for a while.

  6. Hmmm have you tried getting her some of those plastic make up sets you can get in toy stores. I know my niece used to always go through my make up and now she always shows me "hers" when I go round :-)

  9. Ok, I want to eat Neya up. Aarthiiii this wont let you be! I was obsessed with my mom';s makeup (a cream blush and some lipstick) as a child and mum's tricks of fake putting it on on me dint work much. I knew it the first time itself (and I swear I have a very very good memory, it's freaky!) My mum had to give up makeup! lol because she int want me to put it on! Evidently that dint work because, look at me now and my mum now has some of her own makeup (some lipsticks, cream blush and kajal lol) that I still steal from! But I hope yours works longer and She doesn't realize what you're doing. :P Such a long comment! phew!

  10. Heheheeeeeeeeeeeee but she looks sooooooooooooooo cute!!!! :* :* :* You could try giving her a tinted lip balm or something like that..but how old is she? Or give her brushes to play with without any makeup on it :P Even I don't like kids wearing/playing with makeup...feel it's not safe for them...but funny how we feel that way about kids but happily put loads of it on ourselves! :D

    1. Ya the lipsticks with the lid trick doesn't work out any more.. :( I am giving her my lip balms :( She is one greedy child.. she wants to do every single bit I do.. right from taking the brush dabbing the eye shadow and applying it on her eyes.. these days I am running upstairs to get ready leaving her with her dad.. When I am back she sees all colors on my face and starts yelling at me !!
