Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters were very much like how I had imagined them to be - buttery texture like lip balms with a hint of color that is buildable. I wish they were a little more pigmented, then it would have exactly been my kind of lip colors. However I won't say these disappointed me and I am loving them more and more as I try new colors. The cost is the only factor that actually stops me.
As I mentioned before these are quite moisturizing like lip balms at the same times adds some color to our lips. Cherry Tart is a dull cherry shaded lip butter which on building up the color turns to a good red color [with pink/rose undertones]. However it wears off pretty quickly and I keep reapplying every 1 hour at least. If you haven't read the review of the other shade I have GO HERE.
- Hydrates my lips as well as leaving back colored lips.
- The color is buildable.
- Love the color coded packaging.
- Cherry Tart is a pretty toned down red color.
- Does not have any shimmers.
- Gives pretty glossy lips almost like a gloss.
- Staying power is bad.
- Does not give full pigmented color, just a medium coverage.
The cost of Revlon Colorburst Lip butter is Rs.600 for 2.55 g.
If you are a lip gloss person who prefers glossy/shiny lips than pigmented lips then you will love these like how I do. If you are a pure lipstick person who prefers good color pay off that lasts long then this is definitely not the one for you. I repeat, I just wish the price was a bit less and I would have hoarded all of the shades that were launched.
