Yves Saint Laurent Variation Blush Rose Whisper : Review, Swatch

In spite of being a person who doesn't use blush very often I have quite a good amount of them that I had shared previously with all you HERE. Since I have a few I got to try brands like YSL, Benefit and MAC too. I want one from Chanel and Dior soon :p Rads always wanted to see how I liked this blush and here is the review.

This review goes for Rads :)

Description

I like the way these blushes come in a black velvet pouch. I do not mind satin pouches as well :p The tiny royal gold casing has the brand name marked on it and the good thing is it comes with a tiny applicator and a mirror too ! The brush is 'okay' to be used while travelling however I prefer my TBS Kabuki to apply this blush. The shade Rose Whisper has 2 shades - soft pink and bright plum and it hardly shows on me ! Ya, it is very light. However, the staying power is good and the quality is just 'wow'.

Likes
  • Powder is so soft like a feather and it is so easy to blend the color.
  • Comes with a brush and mirror !
  • Travel - friendly.
  • Tiny and cute.
  • The shade Rose Whisper is a pretty baby pink shade.
  • Wide range of color choice available.
  • Good staying power.
  • Packaging is gorgeous.

Dislikes
  • It is too light on me. Wondering how I bought this ! Might suit people in NC 30s better !
  • Availability.

Price

The cost of Yves Saint Laurent Variation Blush is AED 189 for 4 g. Approximately Rs.2500- Rs.2800.

Swatch

Verdict

A very soft blush that is so easy to work on and a luxury to have it with you. I absolutely love how light they feel on me as if I have nothing on my face. All I wish is it could have showed up on me better ! Well I am not sure if I have to keep it with me or sell it or just pass it on :p This blush is one of the best I have tried so far and I completely adore it ! Rads, you should get one :)

  4. You didn't try it in store before buying? It is seen quite well on your hand swatch though...hmmm..try applying some cream blush and applying this over that - might show up better?

  8. It is so pretty...I wouldn't even feel like using it! And it doesn't seem to light on your hand swatch...seems perfect as a natural flush on your cheeks. Now I'm lusting after this.....sigh.
