I understand your question about the brand name ! Most of you might not know the brand Napoleon Perdis which was named after the Make Up Artist from Australia who is the founder of the brand. Even I wouldn't have known it until I dropped in to his store one random day during my university days in Sydney. I was then a simple lip gloss and kajal girl. I just entered the store, picked up the gloss, billed it and walked out. I didn't even use the tester ! I just love pinks then and that was all I was looking for. This is the first product I wanted to get a back up of !
The Napoleon Perdis Gloss in the shade Lucinda [which is supposed to be a Limited Edition ] is my very first gloss that I was madly in love with. When I left the country I made sure I got a back up and showed the store to my cousins who are still living there so that they can always get this gloss for me ! The gloss is absolutely non-sticky and that is a major reason for me to love this one. It leaves a light pink tint on my lips and I have been buying this ever since then. Unfortunately, when I asked my cousins to get this for me this year they said it is no more available :( So before I part with this beauty I thought I should review it here.
- Very very very little sticky - almost nil stickiness.
- Very light on lips.
- Lasts for 2 hours on my lips !
- Leaves a subtle rosy pink color on my lips. The shade is absolutely gorgeous.
- Smells good.
- This is a Limited Edition shade :(
The price of Napoleon Perdis Satin Lips Lip Gloss is AUD 25 (approx) which is Rs.1400 (approx) for 7 ml.
I absolutely love the gloss as this is one of my very first gloss and the very first product I re purchased. I still wish it was available and it was not an Limited Edition product. I might have tried many many many more glosses after this but this one will always remain my favorite ! I am planning to try some other gloss from the same brand and see if it is equally impressive. Till then - I'll miss you 'Lucinda' ;)
