It has been a long time since I reviewed any eye shadow from INGLOT and at the same time thought of giving a break to my MAC eye shadows. INGLOT eye shadows have never disappointed me and my favorites are the pearl finish range. This time I again got a pearl eye shadow in Olive/Dirty Green color as I totally love olive greens and wanted one for myself to try it on my lids. Like any other shade from the brand even this one worked amazingly on my lids.
Pearl 419 is an olive green shade with gold sheen to it. The eye shadow is super smooth and thus so easy to blend it on the lids with very little effort. There is almost nil fall out and no creasing at all. Pigmentation is good and it is easy to build the color as well. I have used a base in the EOTD below and 2 swipes of the color is shown in the swatch. The color is amazing and olive green lovers must have this one ! I am still looking for more options to use this eye shadow, as it would look great with black, dark green and gold eye shadows.
- Olive Green color with gold sheen.
- Pearl finish.
- Very smooth and easy to blend.
- Does not crease.
- Almost nil fall out.
- Easily available.
- Amazing quality at an affordable price.
- I am not happy with the way the color shows on my lids - I want more green than gold :(
The price of INGLOT Freedom System Eye Shadows are Rs.350 for 1.6 g. Now there is flat 30% off on eye shadows at majorbrands !
I love everything about this eye shadow except for the way it looks on me ! Yes, I wanted the Olive Green color to be more vibrant and obvious on my eyes but this one looks more dull and boring. So I am trying out several combinations with this one to make the pretty color show well on my lids. Once I come up with a look that I really love I will share the pictures here. Until then do go to the store and try it on your lids and let me know how you liked it.
