Samples - Do you like them?

I have seen people go to the cosmetic stores just for the samples and I really pity the sweet SAs who don't argue much and just hand over the samples to them. Seeing these helpless SAs I always never bother them asking for samples unnecessarily. Unless I really want to try a product before investing on the full size bottles I don't ask for them. Some times these samples comes as a surprise and I accept it gladly. My sister got some Kiehl's and Bobby Brown samples for me and here I am sharing what all I got to try and test.

If there is one product that has been in my wish list for a really long time and that impressed me as soon as it went on my skin then it will be the Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel Creme - God.. the fragrance was just mind blowing and my skin felt like baby's skin :)

I am totally new to this brand-Bobbi Brown but always wanted to try something and my sister came forward to help me as always ! She got the Creamy Concealer and Loose Powder samples for me. Our skin tones are almost similar so hoping this should work for me. *Fingers Crossed*

As I am a perfume hoarder my sis never forgets to get these perfume samples for me :) I try the ones she gets for me and I'll end up asking her to buy me at least one of those in full sized version later. Lol !

I really don't know why she got this !!

Last but not the least some cute little samples from Kiehl's. I am again new to this brand and it was just by chance she got the scrub and sunscreen. I never ever mentioned about this to her ! Love you sis :)

I am going to totally enjoy trying and testing these samples I got. Guess, I have more than a dozen of them to try. So do you like samples too?

  1. i love perfume samples very much. They are very handy during travelling. But i hate asking for samples unless i have purchased something from them & have decided to purchase something based on the sample. i find it embarrassing to just walk in a shop and ask. I have seen many women who visit shops just for samples. the same applies for the freebies too.. once i saw a woman who was arguing with the SA for a small cloth bag which they were giving with purchase of Rs.500 frm maybelline. That lady had purchased for Rs.400 something and she was arguing so much with the helpless SA for a tiny lil cloth bag.

    1. I am very much like you Raji, I don't ask for samples until I really need them. Also I have seen people who fight with the SAs for freebies !!

  2. Most of the times, the SA of premium brands give samples along with purchases. I like getting those as it is a wy of trying out new products. I generally don't ask for samples unless it is something I want to buy but need to check whether it suits my skin or not. Waiting for your review of Bobbi Brown concealer. Some ppl love it,some find it too thick.
