BVLGARI Omnia Amethyste Eau De Toilette Vaporisateur Natural Spray : Photos, Review, Notes

As promised a couple of months back, here is another fragrance up for review from the brand Bvlgari. I usually don't like using fragrances that I smell on somebody but there were two exceptions so far - one is a Nike perfume reviewed HERE and the other one is this Omnia Amethyste that I will be reviewing today. This fragrance was so good that I tried even the green version of this perfume ! I would always repurchase these two perfumes and thanks to my friends who introduced me to them.

Bvlgari Omnia Amethyste EDT

Description

I would choose most of my perfumes by smelling the top notes (obviously) and this one was not an exception too ! As I spray this on to my wrist all I could smell is a soapy floral fragrance that is mild and soothing. As time goes the same fragrance shows up but mixed with some musky base notes. In all forms I like the fragrance - I am wondering how could any one make a soapy fragrance so lovable ! I am so comfortable wearing this during any season and this is one perfume which suits all age groups. I can imagine my school going cousin wearing this and my granny would be happy with this as well ! Staying Power and Sillage are 'Really Good'. The fragrance is described as a 'Floral' fragrance.

Notes
Top Notes - Green Sap and Pink Grapefruit
Middle Notes -  Iris Flower and Bulgarian Rosebud
Base Notes - Heliotrope and Solar Wood

Likes
  • The fragrance is fresh in spite of being floral and soapy.
  • Lasts almost the entire day on my clothes.
  • Sillage is really good.
  • I love the packaging - two circles interlocked and the color as well.
  • This fragrance would suit all age groups and all seasons.
  • Easily available.
Dislikes
  • The fragrance smells a bit different in summer [not so fresh] which I don't like much, I like the way it smells rest of the year.

Price

The cost of Bvlgari Omnia Amethyste EDT is Rs.2500 (approx) for 65 ml of the product.

Verdict

As I repeat all the time, perfumes are totally one's personal choice so you might or might not love this fragrance as much as I do. If it was a clean floral fragrance I would recommend it to floral lovers but the soapy notes left me confused and I don't think all floral lovers would love this scent. This is one perfume you can buy based on the top notes and need not wait for hours to feel the base notes, as the top notes are more predominant in this fragrance. Just try it once in the counters, before you decide whether to buy it or not.
