Revlon Nail Art Expressionist Nail Enamel Monet,Monet : Photos, Review, NOTD

After reviewing a couple of Nail Art stuff launched by Revlon recently, here is the third and last one I had bought along with the other two. Out of the three I didn't like one and loved the other, with this review today you will get an idea about the entire collection. This shade 'Monet, Monet' is one among the 'Expressionist' range and I seriously have no idea about the reason behind the naming. I chose the one with 2 bright colors hoping that it would look super glam with the happening neon trend ! Read on to know if I liked this one or not.

Revlon Nail Art Expressionist Nail Enamel - Monet, Monet

The Expressionist Nail Art in Monet, Monet comes with two shades like all the colors launched in this range. The two shades are a dull mint green and a shiny yellow color. As per the markings the green goes as the base and the yellow shade goes on top of that. The brush is slightly thinner than the ones in usual nail colors and the yellow has a really thin brush which is purposely made that way to create designs on your nails. I need two complete coat of the base green color for an opaque non streaky color. The yellow one is not easy to work with as it is not very opaque for a nail art nor the brush is thick enough to apply it as an all over nail color :(

  • The color choice available is wide.
  • This is a new thought - simple nail art made available to all !
  • Almost all colors are pretty.
  • Easily available.

  • The formula is hard to work with.
  • Brush is smaller than the usual ones and thus application is not so easy.
  • Hard to draw using the brush that comes with the yellow color.

The cost of Revlon Nail Art Neon Nail Enamels are Rs.300 for 7.68 ml of the product.

I am neither excited nor happy with this product. I am glad I can just use it as a normal nail enamel even if not as a nail art kit. Wish the yellow color came with a usual brush that I could have used the same as a overall nail color. In spite of all my complaints I appreciate the fact that Revlon came up with a new innovative idea and they need a special appreciation here. There were few other colors from the same range that worked better than this one, so try these before you buy them !
