Diwali /Deepavali is just around the corner and I am sure most of you would have done your shopping by now. Even I have :)
Diwali is one the festivals we celebrate really grand in our family. It might be because of the fact that our ancestors come from the place [Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu ] which is the main hub for crackers manufacturing or it might just be the family tradition !! We actually don't know the reason but every Diwali is celebrated really really well with my sister, cousins and friends at our place. This Diwali is not an exception too !
I end up spending a lot on clothes for Diwali, however this year I wanted to keep it simple as I hardly wear all these traditional clothes more than once.
Today I am sharing the pics of the anarakali suit I got for Diwali as I am loving it to bits :D
|My Diwali Suit|
I so wanted to try some thing in neon and almost all outfits I saw were too bright for my liking. I almost gave up and then the SA showed me this. It was instant love and though I liked many others I couldn't take this off from my mind. I tried it on and was praying to God that it should fit me and glad it did ! It was initially a little tight for me and they said they can alter it ! Yippe !!
After the alteration it fits me so well now :D The outfit has some minute stone work with neon thread work as shown in the pic above and gold and neon patch work at the bottom. It is simple yet grand and that is how I wanted it !
I tried my best to click a full pic of the outfit and I couldn't do much than how it looks in the pic below ! Sorry for a bad click but I had to show the entire outfit, else there is no point doing this post. I can't ask you to imagine how all the bits and pieces would look together :p It looks much better and brighter than in the pic below and that is why I call it a bad click !
So how is your Diwali shopping going on?
Happy Shopping :)
