Pond's White Beauty All-In-One BB+ Fairness Cream : Photos, Review, Swatch

This is my 4th BB cream / tinted moisturizer I am trying and though I am already tired testing so many products on my face I had little expectation on this pocket-friendly product. Maybelline broke me out, Garnier was too dry/matte on me, Elle 18 just melts away and I had to wait for a couple of days to see how this fares. The first impression was not so great with this BB Cream but I didn't give up, so I tried a couple of times more to make this work !

Description

The first time I tried I took a very little amount and applied it all over my face without any moisturizer and my face looked dry. The next time I tried with a moisturizer underneath but still the coverage was not so great. Finally I found the way this has to be used on me - applying a moisturizer and then applying generous amount of the BB Cream gave an even light coverage. After a while I noticed a subtle glow and there was no whitish cast. I really liked its effect but I would finish this little tube in less than 5 uses !! The packaging is simple and sleek with a narrow mouthed tube. Very travel friendly too.

Dislikes
  • Dry skin might need a moisturizer underneath this BB Cream.
  • The cream is thick and you have to blend it really well, else you might end up looking like a clown.

Pond's White Beauty All-In-One BB+ Fairness Cream - Swatch

Price

The cost of Pond's White Beauty All-In-One BB+ Fairness Cream is Rs.69 for 9 g of the product. Also available in 18 g which is sold for Rs.125.

Verdict

I like the Ponds BB Cream and it would suit combination skin the best. Dry skin might need a moisturizer beneath and oily skin might get too oily after a few hours of application that they'll need a setting powder to keep the oiliness away ! Blending is a bit of a task involved and this doesn't help me while I am rushing. I am glad with the effect but my hunt for the best BB/CC Cream is still on. I would next be trying the Lakme CC cream !!
