Forest Essentials Eternal Youth Formula Date & Litchi : Photos, Review, Swatch

Remember, a couple of months back I showed you the gift box we got for my dad on his birthday? If you haven't, then see here. Dad has always been very regular with his skin and hair care routine and the more we encourage him by gifting him such products, the more interested he would be in taking care of himself ! I mentioned that he has to be really regular while using the Forest Essentials products as it is completely natural [without any chemicals] it will take time to show visible results on his skin. So he has been using this regularly for almost 4 months and thus here is the review of one of the product he has been using - Eternal Youth Formula with Date & Litchi.

Forest Essentials Eternal Youth Formula Date & Litchi

Description

The cream comes packed in a glass jar that has a pale white cream packed in it. The packaging is a bit bulky so you might not be very happy to carry it along during travel. Since it comes in a tub, you need a spatula to take the product out every time too !

The cream is quite thick so I asked my dad to use it as a night cream. He has a dry skin and his skin quickly drinks up this cream. Though it feels a bit heavy initially, in few minutes skin feels moisturized and non-greasy too. The fragrance is very soothing and thus best suits as a night cream. Anyone would love to sleep with such a soothing fragrance on their skin. It claims to deeply moisturize and add glow to the skin while diminishing fine lines and toning the skin. No doubt that it moisturizes the skin as the skin feels super supple and fresh the next morning. It definitely gives a subtle glow on regular usage but neither me nor dad noticed any reduction in fine lines !

Verdict

It is a good night cream for people with dry-combination skin, especially this would be a blessing during winters. Regular usage definitely shows an amazing difference in the way the skin feels and looks. I know that the price is really high but it is 'Luxury Ayurveda' you see ;) If you have oily skin then you can easily skip this as it would be too heavy for oily skin. For now, Dad loves it and Mom is happy that I suggested this :D In simple, a good luxury night cream for dry-combination skin.

  2. Seems nice. And it doesnt have parabens or phenoxyehtanol. The silicone in it is way down the ingredient list too so quite a good buy i feel.
