Forest Essentials Bitter Orange & Cinnamon Hair Cleanser : Photos, Review, Swatch

I was happy with the way my Forest Essentials Mashobra Honey & Vanilla Cleanser and Conditioner duo worked on my hair but then my friend suggested me to try this Bitter Orange and Cinnamon variant that controlled her frizzy hair and gave a shiny hair too. The word 'shiny' caught my attention and soon I ended up buying the cleanser and conditioner together from Forest Essentials. Today I will be reviewing the cleanser followed by the conditioner tomorrow, so that it will be easy for your reference.

Forest Essentials Bitter Orange & Cinnamon Hair Cleanser

Description

The Forest Essentials Bitter Orange & Cinnamon Hair Cleanser comes in a transparent plastic bottle with easy to use lid inside. The stopper inside controls the cleanser coming out of the bottle, so you would never waste the product. The cleanser is a brown runny liquid that predominantly smells like orange and that ensures you a citrusy hair wash. My hair smells so good after cleansing. Sadly, this doesn't lather much, not even as much as the other variant I tried before ! After I oil my hair I have to skip this one as it does not take the oil completely and it didn't seem to control my frizz much too :( After wash, it just leaves a clean hair that smells good.

Likes
  • A mild hair cleanser that is chemical free.
  • Ingredients list is very impressive.
  • Cleanses the hair well.
  • Leaves a subtle shine [if you have a normal hair].
  • Smells very citrusy like orange.
  • Easily available - both in stores and online too.

Dislikes
  • Did not help my dry hair much.
  • Does not control my frizz.
  • This might work well on normal thin hair but not on dry frizzy hair.
  • When I oil my hair and then use this cleanser, it doesn't take the oil completely.

Price

The cost of Forest Essentials Bitter Orange & Cinnamon Hair Cleanser is Rs.680 for 200 ml of the product.

Verdict

I wouldn't call this a bad cleanser but just that it is not for my dry frizzy hair ! If you have normal fine hair then this would work on it. A little frizz control and a little shine would show up on normal hair which is definitely not sufficient for my dry hair ! It definitely smells amazing and if you love fresh citrusy scents then you will love it ! I am going back to my Mashobra Honey & Vanilla Hair Cleanser again :(
