Forest Essentials Bitter Orange & Cinnamon Hair Conditioner : Photos, Review, Swatch

Followed by the Hair Cleanser, today I shall review the Bitter Orange & Cinnamon Hair Conditioner from Forest Essentials. I didn't have any hight expectations out of the conditioner as the previous variant I tried didn't do much to my hair ! My friend stressed on the fact that it would leave a subtle shine on the hair and she even took a pic of her hair and sent it to me. It did look great but she always had good hair and that is where I went wrong ! My hair was much more dry compared to hers, so lets see if this conditioner helped my hair too.

Forest Essentials Bitter Orange & Cinnamon Hair Conditioner

Description

The Bitter Orange and Cinnamon conditioner comes in a plastic bottle same as the cleanser. Highly possible that you might pick up the conditioner instead of cleanser and vice versa ! Only the color of the product inside would vary. The white liquid -y conditioner is very light unlike other thick conditioners available in the market. I just apply a little over the length of my hair and wait for 3-4 minutes and then wash it. It does tame my hair a bit but nothing extra ordinary ! This would again suit normal hair better. It smells as amazing as the cleanser from the same range does.

Likes
  • Smells amazing like fresh oranges.
  • Comes in a transparent bottle so that you know the amount of product left in the bottle.
  • Impressive ingredients list !
  • It is very light and runny and thus easy to apply.
  • Easily available online and at stores too.

Dislikes
  • This would suit normal hair better as what it does to my dry hair is very minimal, that I could very well do without this conditioner.
  • The lid loses its outer golden layer as it sits in the bathroom all day. You can see it in the first pic above.
  • I don't see any shine or glossiness !

Price

The cost of Forest Essentials Bitter Orange & Cinnamon Hair Conditioner is Rs.780 for 200 ml of the product.

Verdict

The conditioner is just not the one for me ! Though it smells really good and I am sure to get compliments the first day after the wash, it didn't do anything beyond that. If you have very fine and normal hair [like my friend who recommended this to me has] then this would work amazingly well on your hair. If you have treated dry and frizzy hair like mine then it is best to skip this conditioner.
