Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream with Anise : Photos, Review, Swatch

Gifts are always special and I enjoy giving gifts as much as I enjoy getting them. On Dad's birthday we gifted our Dad some amazing products and you could see the details here. The huge gift box from Forest Essentials had the Intensive Eye Cream with Anise. I had high expectations and so I asked Dad to use is everyday single day. Also, I wanted to give it enough time to see how effective it is and it has been almost 4 months now and here is the review of the same.

Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream with Anise

The tiny glass pot looks compact and easy to slip inside the bag but it is important to handle the glass jar like a baby else it might break easily ! The white cream smells great like any other Forest Essentials product and you would just need a pea size amount or even less than that to apply around your eyes. It takes a while to get into the skin and a little massage would help better. My dad has really puffy eyes and mild dark circles. After using it for a month I saw significant reduction of puffiness and a little reduction of dark circles too. However, Dad says he feels the areas around his eyes are more hydrated and even the skin looks more firm. Even after using it for 3 months the effect remains almost the same ! There is still a lot of product left in the tub but it is advised to use up the cream within 3 months from opening the packaging. It has been almost 4 months and I asked Dad to stop using it. Since he loved the effect he wants a new one now :)

Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream with Anise

  • Lovely packaging.
  • Interesting Ingredients list - almost all natural !
  • The cream is light.
  • Very little amount needed every time and this tub would last for more than 4 months !
  • Smells amazing and the fragrance is soothing too.
  • Reduces dark circles and puffiness.
  • Makes the skin around the eyes firm and bright.
  • Hydrates the skin too.

Worth A Mention
  • The effect shows only on regular usage and you have to wait at least for a month.

  • The glass jar is easily breakable, so it has to be handled with care.
  • After a month it didn't do anything significant but maintained the skin the same way.
  • Very expensive !

Dad really loves the eye cream and even I loved the effect it showed on him. The skin around his eyes were more bright and young. On regular usage it does help the eye area look better and clear. However I have my doubts on how effective it will be on young - mature skin ! Also it is better to use the eye cream twice a day and finish the tub within 3 months from opening. It is a very expensive product to get wasted. I might not buy it for myself but will definitely be buying one more tub for Dad.

  1. Nice detailed review...I love products that work!!! This sounds really good :)

    1. Thank You Garima.. If at all every single product does what it claims... zzzzzz...

  2. Eye creams and Ice creams....a girl can never really have just one can she? This seems hydrating enough for my dehydrated undereye area. Will try this after I use up my Shiseido one.

    1. Haa Haa.. Very true :)
