Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil : Photos, Review, Swatch

My friend used to have gorgeous hair and whenever I asked her about her hair care routine she emphasized on the fact that she used only olive oil on her hair. Since olive oil is very sticky I never felt like trying it. That is when I received the Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil for me to try. I finished using my favorite hair oil but the day I stopped using it I had severe hair fall again. So I started using the Dabur Vatika Hair Oil a couple of months back which claims to reduce hair fall. Read on to know if it controlled my hair fall.

Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil

The Dabur Vatika Hair Oil comes in a transparent bottle with a green lid. The transparent bottle makes it easy to spot the amount of oil left in the bottle. The lid has a stopper and that controls the oil from flowing out.  The oil is in green color and is very light unlike what I had expected. The oil smells good and it is a bit floral too. The fragrance stays until the oil stays on my hair. I usually apply oil 1-2 hrs before my shower and the fragrance reminds me that I have oiled my hair until I go wash my hair. It might be a strong fragrance for sensitive nose but I am totally fine with the way it smells. The oil is not very sticky and thus I am comfortable applying this on my hair. This is a 90% natural hair oil and so I am happy about it.

Coming to the claims - It reduces hair fall from the very first use but again the effect lasts only until I use this oil. The days when I am in a hurry and when I don't have time to apply oil my hair fall is again enormous ! Yes, the effect lasts only until you use the hair oil. It definitely makes my hair more shiny and bouncy and does not weigh down my hair at all.

Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil - Swatch

Surprisingly, this is the third hair oil that worked really well on my hair. It did live up to its claims in controlling hair fall and making the hair soft, shiny and bouncy. I am glad that I came across this hair oil as this is the cheapest of all the three hair oils I love. I got a 200 ml bottle too so this would last me easily for another 6 months after which I might re purchase the same. A great hair oil which is pocket friendly but do not expect it to do wonders. The effect lasts only until you use this hair oil.
