Pretty Secrets - Not everything is pretty !!

I have been debating whether I should do this post or not because I usually do not encourage or share anything negative in the blog here but after 3 months I decided to go ahead and do this post for the following reasons,
1. Hoping this would be noticed by the brand and they might take necessary action [at least now].
2. If not now and if not me, at least in the future they might make sure that no body suffers a bitter experience.
3. A little warning to my readers before they decide to place any huge order with this online portal.

If you are still confused then let me make it clear I am talking about my frustrating experience with Pretty Secret's after sales service.


Pretty Secrets - Not Everything is Pretty !

You could have seen the pic above in my Instagram some time in June and that is when I got 3 pairs of lingerie from Pretty Secrets. From placing an order, finding the right product and getting it at the right time everything went on smoothly and I was really impressed. Unfortunately one of the 6 products [a bra] I got was one size smaller and I wanted to exchange it for the next size. The other 2 bras which were of the same size was a perfect fit. I sent an email to the customer care right away and I got the following mail immediately.

They sent a mail the same day that there will be someone to pick it up for an exchange and once the quality check has been done they would replace it with the right size. I waited for a couple of days and there was no one. I once again sent a mail and their response was the same but again no body turned up. After 3-4 mail coversations like this I highly suspected if this was an automated email and so I decided to call up their customer service. They said they will first send me the right sized product as the pick up is being delayed but even that never happened !!! I struggled for one whole month and finally gave up !

You could see the same email being sent again and again but nothing was done. Irrespective of what I wrote to them, their reply remained the same four meaningless lines !!











The entire experience was really frustrating especially when you place a huge order this is the least you could expect from such a huge brand ! The time and effort spent on getting the right product or my money back seemed to be a complete waste. I hope the brand does something at least now ! Sad that they have pathetic customer service, who are totally reluctant about the customer needs. 

Girls, this is a warning for all of you. Unless you are ready to waste your money knowingly, along with a lot of your precious time then go ahead and get lingerie from prettysecrets.com !

  1. wow such an awful experience. Many bloggers wrote nicely about pretty secrets but their after sales service seems to be terrible. Will keep this in mind.

    1. I went ahead and purchased from them only after reading all the reviews but unfortunately nobody would have had the need to deal with the after sales service !

  2. I was thinking of ordering from them for a long time. We shop online to save us the hussles but if online shopping gives this much pain then I will keep away from this website. Thanks for sharing

We have a stringent and redundant process to handle customer queries and issues which takes care that they are responded to during a minimum time frame (usually 24 hours). However, in this case we fell short of our exceedingly high standards.

    We're taking this as an opportunity to pull up our socks and hope that you'll continue to grant us your patronage. The product is being shipped immediately and the tracking number will be shared on a separate email. We promise that such a transgression will never happen again.

    1. Thank you for your response and I have to mention this poor service was totally unexpected.

      However, the package has been picked up yesterday from me and I got the tracking number of the replacement product too. Hoping for the best.

  5. I'm shocked! Such poor service! I was actually debating buying something from them, but will reconsider now. As Shayoni said, we shop online for less hassle, but this defeats the purpose!
