Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Hair Cleanser and Hair Conditioner : Photos, Review, Ingredients

Forest Essentials is my favourite brand when it comes to my hair care. I have been using their hair cleanser and conditioner for more than a year now and I am pretty happy with the way my hair behaves since then. When Forest Essentials launched their new range [Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime] of hair care products for this summer I couldn't resist trying them. I have been using the Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Hair Cleanser and Conditioner combo for a month now and it is time for a review.

Note - This range is meant for oily scalp.

Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Hair Cleanser

The hair cleanser comes in the usual plastic bottle packaging with a screw open lid. I am glad they have discontinued the pump dispenser which was very inconvenient to use. The hair cleanser is a light runny bright peachy liquid which when applied on damp hair lathers pretty well when compared to hair cleanser from their other range like Mashobra Honey & Vanilla. The fragrance of this hair cleanser reminds me of a spa I visited long back. I so love the fruity yet fresh fragrance. I can definitely sense notes of lime and very little of pomegranate. The fragrance doesn't stay after I wash my hair and the cleanser gets washed off easily leaving a super clean hair

Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Hair Conditioner

The conditioner comes in the same kind of bottle with screw open lid. The conditioner is a milky pink coloured, creamy yet runny liquid. The fragrance is very very mild when compared to the shampoo and probably that is why I don't smell anything after I wash my hair. It settles my frizz well and hair looks soft and manageable. Girls with very frizzy hair might need a heavy conditioner. After using this duo, my hair stays fresh and oil-free for 3 days

Likes
  • The easy to use packaging.
  • The fresh fruity spa-like fragrance of the hair cleanser.
  • The cleanser lathers pretty well.
  • Both the cleanser and conditioner gets washed easily.
  • Leaves my hair and scalp squeaky clean.
  • Hair looks and feels soft and fresh for 3 good days.

Dislikes
  • The conditioner is almost odour-less. So the fragrance the cleanser leaves on my hair vanishes after I use the conditioner. I love good smelling hair and in that aspect I wished the fragrance stayed at least for a day :(

Price

The cost of Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Hair Cleanser is Rs.875 for 200 ml.
The cost of Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Hair Conditioner is Rs.975 for 200 ml.

Verdict

Forest Essentials has never disappointed me, especially when it comes to their hair care. This combo is a must-try for people with oily scalp. However, if you have frizzy hair then you might need a heavy conditioner or mask to follow. I only wish the amazing fragrance stayed on my hair for a while and I would have been completely satisfied. If not for anything it is worth a try for its amazing fragrance !!

    1. Regularly oil your hair (concentrate more on hair ends) you might notice visible difference.
